“At a certain point, when your brain doesn’t work, you start to really question what the point of staying alive is. When people like Dave Duerson and Junior Seau died the way they did…I understood. It’s a marvel to me now that I didn’t meet the same end.” Minda Haas
I recently ran across a reference to “One Concussion Too Many: My Post-Concussion Story” by Minda Haas, a 22 year-old whose life had been turned upside down by “mysterious” and debilitating symptoms that numerous doctors were unable to treat or even diagnose. Fortunately, she was eventually put in touch with Brainsake (Brain Wellness and Biofeedback Center) and Dr. Mary Lee Esty. Minda says, “Even though she never treated me, Dr. Esty is still responsible for so much of my getting my life back together after concussion!”
What actually happened was…well, why not hear it in her own words… “One Concussion Too Many: My Post-Concussion Story” by Minda Haas
