“It’s probably been about 2 ½ to 3 years ago since I was in the fibromyalgia study and I just wanted to get your business cards to give to others. I’ve done so incredibly well and I’m always being asked about the [treatment]. I’m also always being asked for your card because I’m always recommending you.
She has not only applied for and received a promotion, but is now in a Master’s degree program.
I wanted to give you an update on my life and how things have been. I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful it is. I feel like I’ve been given my whole life back. Even after I left the program I slowly continued to improve. The other day I ran into an old friend who asked ‘How’s your stuff’? Years ago I’d automatically know what she was talking about. I had to ask what she was talking about. ‘You know, your pain thing.’ I haven’t even thought of myself as having fibromyalgia in a really long time. I’m doing things in my life that I hadn’t been able to do in years. This is a very long overdue thank you.”
