Jim had multiple small strokes that affected many sites in his brain ten years before receiving FNS treatments. He was unable
continue work as a lawyer and retired reluctantly. During these years he worked diligently to regain function. A Neuropsychologist told
him that he would never work again but he continued to work on his recovery receiving many therapies over these years before beginning FNS
in the fall of 2007.
At that time balance, concentration, memory, light and noise sensitivity were major problems. All of these symptoms
gradually reduced during treatment. After 20 treatments his doctor told him he was as good as before the strokes; “You are back!”
After
receiving 24 FNS treatments Jim is now working again as a lawyer, loves his job, and gets excellent performance reviews. During the course of
treatment Jim continued vision therapy and reported more rapid changes in those sessions than previously. The introduction of FNS into
rehabilitation programs seems to have a synergistic effect on the pace of recovery. FNS combined with other therapies makes a truly complete
program.
